We know, that you know, how important Brand representation is online. But sometimes you need to take your Brand offline too. At Hogtronix, we have the in-house skills to prepare beautifully designed artwork, ready to hand to your professional printing company, or, if you prefer, we can liaise directly with your, or our own printing company on your behalf.
When it comes to design for print, most printing companies take no prisoners. They require artwork to be laid out in such a way in exact dimensions ready to be set up on their own machines with the minimum of fuss. Many printers will charge you extra if they have to make timely adjustments to your print layouts. Here at Hogtronix, we can take your Brand and create artwork which is in the exact format required by the printers (printers vary in their exact requirements too) and if need be, we can liaise directly with your chosen printer on your behalf.
Our most common requirement for Print Design is Business Stationery. Even though we live in a digital age, there’s something about good quality business cards that can’t be replicated digitally. But we emphasise ‘good quality’. Not only should the design of your business stationery be slick and professional, but so too the actual print quality. This is why we work closely with a professional U.K based printing company who will deliver direct to your door. In fact, we have worked with this printer for over 10 years. Of course, if you prefer, we can produce artwork to hand to your chosen printing company.
But, aside from business stationery, we can provide design for print, and indeed the print itself for pretty much anything. In the past we have produced leaflets, instruction manuals, magazine adverts, point of sale material and vinyl banners. By understanding your brand, plus how printing companies work, we can take the stress out of you having to deal with one specialist and then liaise with the next, by ensuring, after agreement of the artwork, that the printing company, either yours or ours, produces print exactly to your expectation. Since our inception in 2004, Hogtronix have adapted and added to our service offering to clients to meet their needs, as we see possible gaps with their requirements. Design for print is similar in many ways to design for digital, and in fact we even use some of the same software to produce print ready artwork to hand to the printers. The printers themselves, if you use our highly competitive U.K based press, are also used to dealing with us and we have literally sent 10’s of thousands of pounds of client work to them (we are not paid commission). And perhaps because of this, our chosen service partner is keen to ensure they produce the very best quality print, each and every time.
We will advise you also regarding the available print finishes, from material thickness through to material finishes. And all of the print that we arrange through our own printer is sourced, by them from sustainable or recycled stocks. In fact, they have already opted to use vegetable oil-based inks instead of pure oil inks in their press, and they also recycle all their offcuts and even their printing plates. Print will never be entirely carbon free, but we, and our choice of partner will always do all we can to reduce the impact of any print on the environment.
