We’d known Endurance Surfaces for quite some time because the owner of the business kept his branded delivery vehicles very close to our Cornish head quarters. After many years with their current Website, which was hosted in Germany on a non secure (http) .com domain name, the decision was made to upgrade the Website both in terms of look and feel, but also hosting and functionality too. Our first task was to help secure the matching .co.uk domain name for them and point it to Webspace on our own Web Server.

The Brand at Endurance Surfaces has appeared on the side of vehicles, social media and elsewhere and is well known, and it looked good. So, no branding work was required for this assignment. But, the look and image of the outgoing website was tarnished somewhat by stock photography and irrelevance. In fact, many of their most recent service offerings weren’t even mentioned on the Website and most trade was derived from Social Media advertising. We therefore plumbed in a Facebook Messenger ‘pop up’ feature.

After adding fresh new, slick photography and signing off the new Website and content, we next set our attention to transferring the incumbent .com domain name from a well-known generic host in Germany to our Web Server in London. This went smoother than expected so we then ethically redirected, in a manner recommended and preferred by Google, to their new .co.uk domain and hosting. This will allow, in time, for an improvement in SEO and more localised, relevant Web traffic.
