Cribbs Speed Shop is a specialist automotive workshop based in Ashurst Wood, West Sussex. Started by James Cribb in 2023 after years of working at renowned performance car specialists, the business needed a website that would reflect expertise and commitment to quality workmanship. As a relatively new business that had grown from humble beginnings to a fully-equipped workshop with three staff members, they required a digital presence that would tell their story and attract their target customers.

After meeting with James to understand his business goals, we learned that Cribbs Speed Shop isn’t just another garage – they’re genuine car enthusiasts who treat each vehicle with personal care and attention. The website needed to convey this authentic passion while clearly presenting their four core service areas: Servicing & Maintenance, Performance & Modifications, Overhauls & Recommissions, and Wheel Alignments & Chassis Setup.

We worked closely with James to gather content that would show the personality behind the business. This included details about his background and personal projects that demonstrated all the members of staff’s extensive knowledge. We also documented the workshop facilities, highlighting their investment in professional equipment such as the Hunter HawkEye Elite TD Alignment System and Hunter Auto34 Lever-less Tyre Machine.

The website was designed with a clean, professional look that appeals to car enthusiasts. We structured it to make information about their services easy to find, while also telling the story of how they came to be. The content was tailored to appeal to their target audience – people who have a personal connection with their vehicles and want them worked on by specialists who share their passion.

A key feature of the project was building an integrated online shop. Initially set up to sell Cribbs Speed Shop branded merchandise, we designed the e-commerce section with scalability in mind. The shop structure allows for easy expansion into additional product categories as the business grows. We also provided guidance on selecting appropriate payment merchants, ensuring a secure and smooth transaction process for customers whilst keeping fees competitive for the business.

To complement their new website, they also opted for our Professional Microsoft 365 Email solution. This allows their team to access emails and shared mailboxes from anywhere – whether in the workshop or on the road – while providing the added security and reliability that comes with cloud-based Microsoft email services.
