Hogtronix formed as a UK Limited Company in 2003 and has held it's registered address in Tunbridge Wells since that time. The business was created because of demand for the skills which were prevalent amongst the staff - namely (at that time) Search Engine Optimisation and Pay Per Click Campaign Management. Having been involved with Pay Per Click Campaign Management since it's inception in 2001, Hogtronix employees quickly found themselves as 'experts' in this field and combined with our Search Engine Optimisation experience (our MD has been optimising sites since 1994!) we were able to offer smaller businesses in the UK a new way of promoting their services.

Russell - CEO, Project Manager & SEO Consultant

Russell entered Banking after leaving school in South London at the age of 16 and progressed through the ranks of one of the UK's largest banks until he became a project manager working on Internet projects in the City of London in the days before most people were even aware of the Internet. After several years working in the City with companies at FTSE100 level, Russell developed his own Internet based company selling sports car accessories.

After selling this business in 2004, Russell concentrated solely on managing Hogtronix and expanding the business into Southern Europe (where he now lives). Russell is skilled in Search Engine Optimisation and Pay Per Click campaign management predominately, but is also skilled at web design, project management and face to face customer liaison for clients both in the UK and Spain.


Deborah - Company Secretary

Deborah served much of her working life as a bank Manager for one of the UK's largest High Street clearing banks. Through this experience Deborah became an excellent customer facing employee, a skill she has retained and expanded at Hogtronix. Deborah is not a member of Hogtronix's technical staff but she is well versed and knowledgeable in al the services which we provide.

Deborah has been based in Andalucia, Southern Spain since Hogtronix started offering our full suite of services there in 2005.


Gaby - Database Programmer & Technical Architect

Gaby had a clear attraction towards the exact science since his early school days. Programming and application development became a natural path to follow since college days. Having earned a diploma in Informatical Systems Engineering and already working in languages such as Visual C/C++, Matlab, Labview, Visual Basic, the web experience made a great impact and turned out to be his greatest passion. Switching to the flexible server-side languages (PHP, ASP, ASP.NET) came naturally, and exploring the precise world of databases (SQL, MySQL, Postgre-SQL, Access), was a real gain and a great learning experience. Of course, the basics skills of a web-designer (HTML, Javascript and CSS) were the first to learn.

Now, after over 4 years of work in this domain and 100% self-teaching, he has a portfolio of over 200 projects, mostly web-related ones (although he hadn't lost touch with the desktop application programming). From small projects to very important ones, he continuously delivered bug-free work and creative solutions.

Maddy - Graphic Designer, Photographer and Web Designer

Maddy, ironically doesn't have a strict graphic design and photography background, but she revealed her passion in the 'early days' following college graduation. She first started doing graphic design work including logo design, corporate id, brochures and printing. More and more attracted to the fascinating world of internet, she documented herself about website design and start working in Photoshop. Her talent was truly revealed then, the interactive world wide web and her creative ideas matching from the very beginning.

Maddy has successfully designed hundreds of websites since then, all of them receiving a positive feedback from her clients (we won't allow a project to be signed off until the client is 100% happy!)

Ashley - Logo Designer, Flash Specialist and Web Designer

After leaving Art School, Ashley went straight into web design and has been designing and building websites since 1998. Beginning as a trainee, when the internet was just coming into it own, she taught herself how to use the technology as it was (is still) developing and how to apply it in an artistic/communicative fashion. Ashley is based in Andalucia, Southern Spain and divides her time between learning photography, experimenting with design and exploring Spain.
